Acronyms & Organizations

MDRRMO: Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. The primary agency responsible for disaster response and management at the municipal level.
LGU: Local Government Unit. Refers to the municipal government of Atimonan.
IR: Incident Report. A formal record of a specific event, emergency, or disaster logged into the system.

System Terminology

Geolocation: The identification of the real-world geographic location of an incident using coordinates (Latitude and Longitude).
Situation Monitoring: A view mode that displays incidents on an interactive map to provide real-time situational awareness.
Audit Trail / Logs: A security feature that records a chronological sequence of user actions (e.g., login, add report, edit user) to ensure accountability.

User Roles

Admin: A user with full access to the system, including User Management, System Settings, and Logs. Can add, edit, and archive data.
Encoder: A user authorized to input and manage Incident Reports. They cannot access system settings or user management.
Viewer: A restricted user who can only view the Dashboard, Map, and Incident Reports but cannot make any changes or additions.

Common questions and answers about using Project GRID.

Project GRID (Geolocation-Ready Incident Database) is a centralized system designed for the MDRRMO of Atimonan. It allows authorized personnel to log, monitor, and visualize incident reports on an interactive map to improve disaster response and situational awareness.

If you are an Admin or Encoder, you can click the "Quick Add IR" button in the sidebar or press Ctrl + I on your keyboard. Fill out the required details such as date, time, nature of incident, and location, then click "Add Report".

The Situation Monitoring View opens a full-screen map that displays all recorded incidents as markers. You can click on a marker to see details about the incident. This view is useful for visualizing the distribution of incidents across Atimonan.

Access is restricted to authorized MDRRMO personnel. There are three roles:

Admin: Full access to all features, including user management and settings.
Encoder: Can add and edit incident reports.
Viewer: Read-only access to the dashboard and map.

Please contact a system Administrator to reset your password. For security reasons, there is no self-service password reset feature for standard users.

Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using the system.

1. Nature of the System

Project GRID is a Capstone Thesis Project developed by BSCS students from Quezonian Educational College Inc. (QECI). This system is designed for the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Atimonan, Quezon, to facilitate incident reporting and geolocation monitoring.

As an academic project, this system is currently in a Beta state. While every effort has been made to ensure functionality and security, it is provided primarily for educational and demonstration purposes.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this system, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

3. Authorized Use

Access to this system is restricted to authorized personnel of MDRRMO Atimonan, system administrators, and academic evaluators. Unauthorized access, modification, or distribution of system data is strictly prohibited.

4. Data Privacy and Confidentiality

This system collects and processes data in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information accessed through the system. Data collected is used solely for incident monitoring, reporting, and academic analysis purposes.

5. User Responsibilities

Users must ensure the accuracy of incident reports submitted.
Users must safeguard their login credentials.
Users must not use the system for any unlawful or malicious activities.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The system is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The development team and QECI do not warrant that the system will be error-free or uninterrupted. This system is a support tool and should not be solely relied upon for critical life-safety decisions without verification.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the student developers, thesis advisors, or Quezonian Educational College Inc. be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this system.
